Sacked doctor has given up medical licence to practice

A tribunal has found that Dr Mohammed Makhdum, a psychiatrist, sent patients to private clinics which would make him money, after he admitted to it.

He had been working for the South East Essex Primary Care Trust, which had bases across south Essex, but is now defunct, with responsibilities taken over by the clinical commissioning group.
