An Aberdeen care home labelled “unsatisfactory” by inspectors in August 2017 has been praised for making improvements.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited Grandholm Care Home on Grandholm Drive, Bridge of Don, last August and described care, support and management as “unsatisfactory” – the worst of six possible ratings, with staffing getting a “weak” rating.
After a follow-up visit on 13.02.2018, the watchdog published a report which gives the home an “adequate” rating for care, support, management, leadership and staffing – the third-best possible rating.
